why bother
這是一個(gè)我們?cè)谏罱?jīng)常使用得習(xí)語(yǔ)。它得英文解釋是：
used to say that something is not worth the trouble
用來(lái)表示某事不值得麻煩
bother本義表示“麻煩、費(fèi)心”，而“Why bother?” 其實(shí)就是表示“何必去找著個(gè)麻煩呢？”、“何苦自尋煩惱？”。暗指你這么做是會(huì)惹麻煩得，不值當(dāng)去做得，我勸你還是別做了。也可以表達(dá)成

比方說(shuō)，
I was going to send Joey his birthday present, but why bother? I’ll see him this weekend and I can give it to him then.

美劇中也非常常見(jiàn)這個(gè)說(shuō)法，比如《永不滿(mǎn)足（Insatiable）》第壹季第4集中就有這樣得對(duì)話：

-Why bother? You're the only one who listens to me.
